Rice a staple for Asians

 







































































































Rice varieties in Asia are so diverse and it rationalises the agrometeorological conditions prevalent in the most populous hemisphere of the Planet. No wonder it is the staple diet for Asians. No meal in Asia is complete without a small bowl of rice. Most varieties of rice are healthy, fibrous and full of nutrition except those like polished white rice or glutenous sticky rice and to some extent Basmati Rice.  The sheer diversity of of rice dishes makes for another photo blog...
